Three of the 454 questions in this pack
Question 1
You need to consider the underlined segment to establish whether it is accurate. A quarantine order that a status of Started, means that the item is not yet in the quarantine warehouse.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: B. Created
A quarantine order with a status of 'Created' indicates that the item is not yet in the quarantine warehouse. The 'Started' status would mean the quarantine process has begun and the item has entered the quarantine facility. Therefore, the underlined segment should reference 'Created' status to accurately describe an item not yet in quarantine.
Why the other options are wrong
- A. An adjustment is required because 'Started' status indicates the item is already in quarantine, not pending quarantine.
- C. 'Reported as finished' would indicate the quarantine process is complete, not that the item hasn't entered quarantine.
- D. 'Ended' would mean the quarantine period has concluded, not that the item is waiting to enter quarantine.
Question 2
You need to consider the underlined segment to establish whether it is accurate. Inventory adjustment journals allow for adding cost to an item when you add inventory, and then automatically posts the additional cost to be a specific general ledger account.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: A. No adjustment required.
The statement accurately describes the function of inventory adjustment journals in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. These journals allow users to add cost to items when inventory is increased and automatically post the additional cost to a specific general ledger account. No adjustment to the underlined segment is required.
Why the other options are wrong
- B. Tag counting is a separate journal type used for physical inventory counts, not for adding cost adjustments.
- C. Movement journals are used to transfer inventory between locations, not to adjust costs.
- D. Transfer is not the correct term; adjustment journals serve the specific purpose of cost adjustments, not transfers.
Question 3
Your company makes use of a Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management system. You are tasked with amending inventory. Additionally, the existing item posting configuration must be overridden. You make use of the inventory adjustment journal. Does the action achieve your objective?
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: B. No, it does not
Using an inventory adjustment journal does not achieve the objective of overriding existing item posting configuration. Inventory adjustment journals post to standard general ledger accounts based on the existing item posting setup. To override item posting configuration, alternative methods or specific configuration changes would be required.
Why the other options are wrong
- A. The inventory adjustment journal cannot override the existing item posting configuration; it operates within the constraints of the current posting setup.

What makes the MB-330 hard
MB-330 covers more of Dynamics 365 than any other functional consultant exam: products, inventory, quality, asset management, procurement, landed cost, sales, warehousing, transportation and master planning. Microsoft's June 2025 refresh moved weight towards product information management and warehousing, and added the Warehouse Management mobile app as its own objective.
Product information management is now the largest domain at a quarter of the exam: released products and variants, product templates, BOM versions, category hierarchies, storage, tracking and product dimension groups, item model groups, reservation hierarchies, unit sequence groups, GTIN codes, default order settings, costing versions and trade agreements. Warehousing expects location directives, wave, load and work templates, GS1 and licence plate labels, replenishment, cycle counting, cross docking and containerisation, plus the mobile app: menus, menu items, detours and warehouse workers.
Transportation goes as far as route and rate engines, dock appointment scheduling and freight reconciliation. Inventory and asset management includes the full journal set, inventory close, quality orders and nonconformances, and asset lifecycle models, maintenance plans and work order scheduling. Landed cost and Copilot in Supply Chain Management are in scope too.
About the exam

It covers product information management and costing, inventory, quality and asset management, procurement, landed cost and sales, warehouse and transportation management including the Warehouse Management mobile app, and master planning. Associate level, no prerequisites. Skills measured as of 20 June 2025.

I’m currently doing an internship and managing my studying on the side, so you can imagine I don’t have the luxury of buying expensive prep material. However, using these MB-330 dumps, I’ve come to realize that not all good resources need to be expensive. At just $39, you get 454 questions, which if you ask me, is an absolute steal considering all the 6 key domains are targeted! It's an incredible practice resource so this one’s an easy 5/5 for me!
