What makes the JNCIA-Junos hard
JN0-106 is the current JNCIA-Junos exam. It replaced JN0-105 on 5 April 2026, keeps the same 65 question, 90 minute format, and is the single prerequisite for every Juniper track above it: Enterprise, Service Provider, Data Center, Security, Cloud and Automation. Since the HPE acquisition the programme is branded HPE Juniper Networking, but the exam, the objectives and the Junos OS 21.2 baseline are unchanged.
The objectives fall into seven areas: networking fundamentals covering the OSI and TCP/IP models and IPv4 and IPv6 addressing; Junos OS fundamentals covering the control and forwarding plane split; user interfaces covering the CLI and J-Web; configuration basics covering candidate and active configuration, commit and rollback; operational monitoring and maintenance; routing fundamentals covering routing and forwarding tables and the basics of OSPF and BGP; and routing policy and firewall filters. Juniper does not publish weightings or a fixed passing score, so every objective is fair game.
This pack has 98 practice questions for the JN0-106 JNCIA-Junos exam.
