What makes the AZ-120 hard
AZ-120 sits between two worlds. Microsoft writes it for architects who already know SAP HANA, NetWeaver and Business Suite and now have to run them on Azure, and it strongly recommends holding Azure Administrator Associate first. Candidates who are SAP-strong and Azure-light, or the reverse, lose marks in that gap.
The April 2026 refresh flattened the blueprint into four domains within five points of each other, so nothing can be skipped. Migration now includes a full section on RISE with SAP: networking, compute, storage, identity and data archiving integration. Infrastructure expects SAP-certified VM sizes, the SAP Deployment Automation Framework and Azure Center for SAP solutions. HADR is the hands-on part: Pacemaker and STONITH, the Azure fence agent versus SBD, clustering for HANA, SCS and SQL, storage replication and backup testing.
This pack has 424 practice questions for the AZ-120.
