Three of the 459 questions in this pack

Question 1

Note: This question is part of a series of questions that present the same scenario. Each question in the series contains a unique solution that might meet the stated goals. Some question sets might have more than one correct solution, while others might not have a correct solution.

After you answer a question in this section, you will NOT be able to return to it. As a result, these questions will not appear in the review screen.

You are configuring a business process flow for a case entity.

All cases must be flagged for review.

You need to complete configuration of the business process flow.

Solution: Set the input parameter type as Option set for the action.

Does the solution meet the goal?

  1. Yes
  2. No
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: B. No

Setting the input parameter type as Option set for an action does not configure a case to be flagged for review. To flag cases for review in a business process flow, you need to create an action that performs the actual flagging operation, such as updating a field or creating a related record. Simply specifying the parameter type does not accomplish the flagging requirement.

Why the other options are wrong

  • A. This solution does not actually implement the flagging mechanism needed to mark cases for review.

Question 2

Note: This question is part of a series of questions that present the same scenario. Each question in the series contains a unique solution that might meet the stated goals. Some question sets might have more than one correct solution, while others might not have a correct solution.

After you answer a question in this section, you will NOT be able to return to it. As a result, these questions will not appear in the review screen.

You are configuring a business process flow for a case entity.

All cases must be flagged for review.

You need to complete configuration of the business process flow.

Solution: For a new action named Ready for review, disable the As a business process flow action step option.

Does the solution meet the goal?

  1. Yes
  2. No
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: B. No

Disabling the 'As a business process flow action step' option would prevent the action from being used within the business process flow itself, which is the opposite of what is needed. To flag cases for review, the action must be enabled as a business process flow action step so it can be invoked during the process execution.

Why the other options are wrong

  • A. Disabling this option would remove the action from the business process flow entirely, preventing it from executing.

Question 3

Note: This question is part of a series of questions that present the same scenario. Each question in the series contains a unique solution that might meet the stated goals. Some question sets might have more than one correct solution, while others might not have a correct solution.

After you answer a question in this section, you will NOT be able to return to it. As a result, these questions will not appear in the review screen.

You are configuring a business process flow for a case entity.

All cases must be flagged for review.

You need to complete configuration of the business process flow.

Solution: Create an action that generates a task record that is assigned to the case reviewer and appends the text Ready for review to the case topic.

Does the solution meet the goal?

  1. Yes
  2. No
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: A. Yes

Creating an action that generates a task record assigned to a case reviewer and appends 'Ready for review' to the case topic directly accomplishes the goal of flagging all cases for review. The task notifies the reviewer, and the appended text provides a visible flag on the case record itself, ensuring cases are properly marked for review within the business process flow.

Why the other options are wrong

  • B. This solution directly implements the required functionality to flag cases for review through both task creation and case topic modification.

What makes the MB-230 hard

MB-230 is unusually top-heavy. More than half the exam is a single domain, Manage cases in Customer Service, and the March 2026 blueprint fills it with Copilot: Ask a Question with content filtering, case, timeline and conversation summaries, Draft a Response, the Case Management Agent, Copilot-led knowledge article creation, and integrating agents with plug-ins and knowledge sources. Anyone who last touched Customer Service before Copilot will find a large share of the marks sit on features they have not configured.

The rest is the operational core. SLAs go beyond settings into KPIs, warning and success actions, applicability and Power Automate actions. Routing covers workstreams, capacity profiles, work classification rules, skills-based routing and skill finder models, queues and record routing, then the Copilot Service workspace with session templates, experience profiles, the Inbox and application tab templates. Collaboration is Teams-native: chat, joining a Teams call and AI-suggested contacts.

The final domain is model-driven app customisation plus Customer Voice surveys populated back onto cases and conversations. Omnichannel voice and chat channels are not on this blueprint.
